I've been weirdly obsessed with this obscure series recently. It started on the PS1 apparently but it's had installments on a bunch of consoles... I have them for the DS, 3DS, and Switch. The console games I think are licenses of a PC franchise, which I saw a Youtube video of somebody playing. It looks HARD wow.

The premise is that you are an air traffic controller and you perform ALL the ATC roles (Delivery, Ground, Tower, Approach, Departure), giving directions to aircraft on how to take off and land, and ensuring that they don't collide with each other. It gets surprisingly fast-paced especially when you have a lot of them in play at the same time.

My gateway drug was the one for Switch at Haneda airport.

But since then I have gone full goblin mode and played the 3DS installments at:

• Narita
• New Chitose (this is the best one imo, it's the prettiest -- lots of missions at night and in the snow -- also it has the most interesting aircraft since New Chitose has a Japanese air base in addition to a civil one)
• Naha (although I believe this one is no longer accurate as Naha had an additional runway constructed in 2020; the airport in this game only has 1 runway... but the fact that there's only one runway is what makes it fun...)
• Honolulu
• Osaka
